Jake Vande Zande
Jake is an associate attorney at Lachman Stuart, focusing his practice on real estate and property law where he works on both transactional matters as well as real estate litigation.
Prior to joining the firm, Jake worked as a summer associate for two years at Chase, Bylenga, and Hulst focusing on primarily bankruptcy, insurance, and Michigan No-Fault cases.
In the May of 2020, Jake graduated from Michigan State University College of Law Cum Laude and in the top 20 percent of his class. During law school, he received awards for his legal writing and research as well as the jurisprudence award in Constitutional law and Michigan No-Fault law and was also a member of the International Law Review Journal.
Jake was born and raised in the Grand Rapids area, attending Calvin Christian High School and Calvin University, thereafter, graduating in 2017 with a bachelors degree in both History and Political Science. Outside of work, Jake enjoys spending time on Lake Michigan, volunteering as a Young Life leader, and cheering for his favorite sports teams.
